CUSTOM POOL DESIGN
Bracero Residence – Encinitas
Tucked away in the scenic city of Encinitas, this family of four sought to transform their backyard into a serene escape, blending modern elegance with simplicity. Our design focused on clean lines and functionality, starting with updated flooring to perfect the levels, complemented by new retaining walls that added both structure and privacy. The centerpiece of this transformation was a custom pool, featuring a Baja shelf for lounging and a sophisticated glass-tile-accented spa. We used StoneScapes Mini Pebble for a refined finish, ensuring a luxurious yet understated look. The result? A seamless blend of coastal living and backyard relaxation, offering the best of both worlds—beach and poolside living.
Geneva Residence – San Diego
Recently settling into their forever home, this family envisioned an outdoor retreat where they could escape the summer heat while offering endless fun for their kids. To bring this vision to life, we maximized their backyard space by cutting into the slope and constructing elegant retaining walls. This allowed for the creation of a resort-like setting, complete with a stunning pool, a Baja shelf, and a sparkling spa lined with intricate blue waterline tile. The pool’s white plaster finish provides a clean, timeless aesthetic, while a Trex deck offers a perfect space to lounge in the sun. To complete the transformation, we built a sophisticated outdoor kitchen under a custom pergola, with a tiled island and an outdoor shower for convenience. The family now enjoys an entertainer’s dream, effortlessly combining style and function.
Hataca Residence – North County San Diego
This family’s backyard presented several challenges, including outdated features and drainage issues. Our goal was to reinvent the space by improving functionality and modernizing the design. We addressed the slope by integrating new retaining walls and reimagining the pool layout, transforming the elevated pool area into a contemporary sanctuary. A second-tier deck was added for lounge seating, offering a perfect vantage point over the newly renovated pool. Crisp white tiles grace the waterline and stair risers, while complementary tiles were chosen for the coping and deck to create a cohesive, minimalist look. A porcelain paver on the lower level adds warmth to the design, and the outdoor kitchen, along with a sleek outdoor shower, completes this multi-functional outdoor living area. The result is a modern, elevated space that the family now loves to enjoy year-round.
Shelley Place – North County San Diego
For this senior couple, their oversized pool no longer fit their lifestyle. Our design team set out to reshape the space into a more intimate and accessible oasis. By adding a Baja shelf, we created a relaxing area for lounging in the water, while the updated waterline tile, concrete coping, and StoneScapes Mini Pebble finish gave the pool a fresh, elegant look. The surrounding hardscape was revitalized with R11 tile, providing a safe, slip-resistant surface that beautifully complements the pool’s modern aesthetic.
